Welcome to this blog. I have published my first novel and I thought instead of a website, I'd create a blog to tell you a little bit about it. My hope is that this book will entertain readers with a good solid scary story with maybe a dash of humor thrown in to boot, while also giving them something to think about and consider concerning the possibilities of what happens after this life. Perhaps after reading this book, readers will take a moment to take a hard look at what they truly believe and be open to thinking about "what's next."

About the Book:

Struck by Lightning by Mike Curley is a tale within the supernatural thriller genre. It is the story of Bedlane, a small town which seems to be a typical and innocent town until all "hell" breaks loose. Emanating from a nearby lake, Legion, the ancient evil (the same evil who encountered Christ in the New Testament), rises and begins to devour the townspeople with the ultimate goal to swallow down the entire human race. The town becomes the scene of a horrific clash between forces of good and evil. The battle is fierce as spiritual suspense builds to a powerful, thrilling climax. It’s all here - writhing demons, hideous deaths, paranormal activity, ghost characters, and an unlikely, mysterious hero. Drome, the gentle stranger in town becomes the leader of the human participants, and is the only one who exhibits confidence and courage in the face of unholy terror.
